My Approach
My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I draw from several different therapeutic modalities and techniques. The reason for this is because each client has unique situations, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therefore, my approach allows for flexibility in using the best therapeutic elements for each individual client. Some of these include but are not limited to; cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, and psycho-educational.
Meet Kim Devine, LCSW, LMFT
Currently not accepting new clients. We do have a waiting list that you can be put on.
I love the outdoors and have had some of my greatest breakthroughs and awareness take place while outside; which is why I am so excited to offer my clients the option to participate in Walk/Talk Therapy!
Walk/Talk Therapy adds a natural twist to traditional therapy. A walk/talk session is held in the beauty of the outdoors while we walk together.
For clients who do not feel that Walk/Talk Therapy is right for them; I also provide traditional therapy in a comfortable office setting. We can always try a combination of both as well.
I provide EMDR therapy and I am a Certified EMDR Therapist. Check out the page on EMDR to learn more about it. It can be life changing!
I have a Masters of Social Work from the University of New Hampshire and I am dually licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have over 19 years of experience.
I work with a variety of problems facing adolescents (12+) and adults. From managing stress, issues in your relationships, to more complex clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, and recovery from trauma; I am here to help you in your journey.
My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for you to learn and grow within yourself, your relationships, and your experiences. I view my client and their concerns within the context of their unique set of relationships and life experiences.
I welcome clients of all races, cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds and sexual orientations.
