A Note from Dr. Kim Devine

After many rewarding years serving the Florida community through Get Off the Couch Counseling, I am preparing for a new chapter as I relocate back to my home state of New Hampshire.

As I reflect on this journey, I am filled with gratitude. It has been a true privilege to walk alongside so many individuals. I have had the honor of witnessing incredible resilience, courage, healing, and growth. The stories shared, the lessons learned, and the connections made throughout the years have left a lasting impact on me, both personally and professionally.

Get Off the Couch Counseling was built on the belief that meaningful change begins when we take that first step forward. Over the years, I have watched countless people do exactly that- facing challenges, embracing growth, and creating lives that better reflected their hopes and values. Being invited into those journeys has been one of the greatest privileges of my career.

While this chapter is coming to a close, the memories and relationships formed through this practice will always hold a special place in my heart. I am deeply thankful to every client who trusted me with their story, every colleague who shared in this work, and every community partner who helped support the mission of this practice.

As I transition to New Hampshire, I look forward to new opportunities for consultation, training, supervision, and professional development while carrying with me the experiences and lessons learned from my years in Florida.
