Individual counseling

I provide individual counseling for tweens (12+), adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of issues.  My focus is on you as an individual and I believe that you are the expert of your own life.  I will work with you to help identify what you want to accomplish in our sessions together. 

Group Counseling

At different times of the year; I offer several different groups to fit your needs.  Since I do believe in the positive health benefits of combining exercise with therapy; some of the groups involve walking.  Please contact me for more information about the current group offerings.

A therapeutic/education group co-facilitated by an LCSW and an RD. Did you know that there is a connection between what you eat and how you feel? Join us to learn how your food choices can affect your mood and the impact these choices can have on your mental and emotional well-being. During the 10 weeks, you will also receive two 1:1 sessions with our RD and two 1:1 sessions with our therapist. These individual sessions will allow you the opportunity to develop a customized nutrition lifestyle plan and help you in developing your own strategies for improving your mood.

 "Beauty Within" Group:

A 6-week therapeutic/support group designed especially for women seeking support in a group therapy setting.  Members with various backgrounds and concerns are welcome.  Group topics include self esteem, healthy relationships, setting boundaries and communication skills.  

"Living well With a Chronic Illness" group:

A therapeutic/educational group designed especially for those living with a chronic illness.  The group focuses on helping members handle the emotional and social issues associated with living with a chronic illness.  The hope is that group members will gain strength and knowledge in how to take better care of themselves by establishing healthier habits.  One week will feature expert education by our RD and will also include two 1:1 individual sessions with our RD.
